Taking it back to the Old School

Lately I have been studying portraits from the Gothic and Renaissance period to better understand the tradition of portraiture. I found this really interesting painting and I imagined what it would look like with my style. I was pretty pleased with the results and I plan on continuing with this series of grotesque Renaissance inspired portraits.
