Carlos Donjuan has been away at The University of Texas at San Antonio for the past 3 years working on his Masters degree. This coming month he will be graduating with his M.F.A and will present some new work in his master thesis exhibition. If you are in San Antonio, come out and support.

Sour Grapes in Seattle

Alejandro Diaz and Carlos Donjuan of the Sour Grapes Crew will be in a group show next month in Seattle. The show "Desmadre", features many upcoming Latino artist such as Albert Reyes, El Mac, Marka 27 and many more. This is going to be a great show.

Los Super Elegantes

This years SXSW was amazing and the SG crew rolled deep. We saw a lot of good music performers, DJ's and art. We saw musicians such as Bun B, Kanye West, Hollywood Holt, Mano, U-God, Tittsworth, Dj Craze, Dj Klever, Dave Nada, Bird Peterson, Dead Prez, etc. One of my personal favorites was Los Super Elegantes who I have been wanting see for a long time. Their performance was amazing and to top it off, they were super nice when we met them afterwards. You should check them out. They make music in many different languages and perform in museums and clubs all over the world.

UNT pt.1

This past weekend, the Sour Grapes Crew went to The University of North Texas for a special graffiti event. We were invited to paint a temporary wall that the university had built just for us. It was a perfect day for painting in a chill campus environment surrounded by cool people. We had a great time doing this event in conjunction with the "Graff, Tag and Bomb: The Influence of Graffiti" exhibition, which includes some of Dallas dope graffiti artist. Make sure to check out the art show and wall at UNT. This exhibition will run until march 28, 2009. Special thanks to Victoria for making all of this happen.
